Previously, the building served as the Ross Medical Education Center, a for-profit institution dedicated to healthcare education. This educational legacy aligns seamlessly with Grand Rapids Tech's mission to foster growth, learning, and technological advancement.

Grand Rapids Tech acquired the property for $1.25 million and is investing nearly $250,000 in renovations to modernize the space while preserving its architectural integrity.
